After the training intervention, exposing human dermal fibroblast cells (in laboratory conditions) to blood serum from the trained participants increased the expression of genes related to the skin’s extracellular matrix — direct molecular evidence that the exercise-induced changes in blood chemistry were actively signaling skin cells to rebuild structural tissue.

It’s worth being clear about what this research actually supports and what it doesn’t. Most anti-aging skin advice focuses heavily on the extrinsic side: sunscreen, antioxidants, topical treatments that protect skin from external damage.
